Strumica morning… Birds
PhotographyEarly morning from my balcony in my old house in Strumica. Birds, birds, birds…insomnia… I am standing with my camera trying to catch them, so this is one of the first I managed to pull out of the RAW files. Reminds me of Hitchcock’s movie “Birds”.

Fallen angel
PhotographyThis Saturday I finally got all things planned up and managed to shoot an idea I had for a long time. The day started early as I went to pick up the big white angel wings, had 2-3 morning coffee cups to sober up from the previous night and arrived at the block where we were supposed to shoot. I never thought that going to the roof will be such an adventure, going through all the stairs and finally climbing through a window to get on the roof itself. We went from extra clean to covered in dust and other strange “things” we picked on our way up.

I must say that I never expected Eli to go through with this, especially with the rain and the cold weather, but she managed to do it somehow, for what I am very grateful.

My new obsession
PersonalThese days a few thing go through my mind and one of them is making some studio shots. Silver body paint + black background.. + water or some reflective materials… it would be a nice experiment.. The other thing is I am selling my 50mm f/1.8 and 50mm f/1.4 lens along with the 17-40mm f/4. Although good lens I thing after ordering the new Canon EF 24-70 f/2.8 L lens I will need some $$$ to upgrade my lightning too. I am planing on buying some mobile studio flashes with generators so that I can do some ON-Location shooting.
On the other hand it is summer and I have my first vacation on the way, yep I am going to Thassos the next week. I need $$$ for there too so .. if I don’t spend all my current savings there.. we’ll see..
And among the other things here is a shot from today. Two pals sitting on the streets of Sofia drinking rakia in a Coca-Cola bottle in the middle of the day. Cheers!
